Received her bachelor's degree in architecture from Istanbul Technical University in 2007, her master's degree in architecture from Milano Polytechnic University in 2009 and her PhD degree in conservation-restoration from Yıldız Technical University in 2017. Since 2020, she has been working as an Assist. Prof. Dr. at Çankaya University, Department of Architecture. She conducted postdoctoral research on adaptation of modern heritage as a visiting researcher at Hasselt University, Belgium between September 2022 and September 2023. She is a member of ICOMOS Turkey. Her main research interests are architectural conservation, adaptive reuse, twentieth century architectural heritage and Cittaslow Movement.
