Biography
João Luís Marques is an architect (FAUP, 2006) with PhD (2017) specializied in modern Portuguese religious architecture. He teached courses on Portuguese architectural history and, currently, he is teaching History of Ancient and Medieval Architecture anda Oporto City’s History. He is a researcher at FAUP's Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism and a member of the international platform Observatório de Arquitectura Religiosa Contemporánea. In 2020, he founded his own architectural firm, focusing on architecture, design, and heritage and consultancy.
