The assessment of the timelessness of Architecture as work of art, together with his temporality as a result of their evolution along time, results from our
contemporary culture. Nowadays we appreciate the material essence in architectural heritage, the processes that erected, transformed and even destroyed, and its role as bearer of meaning. Its consideration as a "document" is a value that determines and molds its conservation, research, management and spreading, requiring strategies and tools. This paper sets out in this forum, some observations that we consider essential about the resources, tools and methodological approaches that our group has been applying in its work.
