Ahmed Bassioni is an Egyptian archaeologist and researcher specialising in Hellenistic architecture and topography. He is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Archaeology and Graeco-Roman Studies, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. Mr. Bassioni participated in excavations at Alexandria and El-Ashmunein, Minia. He is the author of the book The Alexandrian Corinthian Capital (2022), published by Archaeopress Ltd, Oxford.
