Peer Review Process

The original research papers follow an anonymous peer review process by at least two specialists from the national and international scientific community, proposed and co-ordinated by the Editorial board. This process warrantees the scientific quality of the contents. The journal (RAET) has the commitment to communicate the authors if the manuscript is accepted or refused within a deadline of three months.

Publication Frequency

Revista de Teledetección is a biannual publication and, from 2021, it will be published in January and July.

Special issues can be published, and they will be announced in advance.

Open Access Policy

Revista de Teledetección provides free and immediate online access to the contents of the Journal, fostering the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge and experience.

Ethic and best practices

Revista de Teledetección, in its commitment to ensure ethical and rigor of its content, follows the Declaration ethic and best practice of PoliPapers(service of the Universitat Politècnica de València to promote open editing of scientific electronic journals).

Plagiarism Policy

RAET editors and readers have a right to expect that submitted work is the author's own, that it has not been plagiarized (i.e. taken from other authors without permission, if permission is required) and that copyright has not been breached (for example, if figures or tables are reproduced). We ask authors to declare that the work reported is their own and that they are the copyright owner. Papers are revised with Similarity Check to avoid plagiarism. In case of plagiarism, the author could state the situation through the e-mail: ojsadmin@upvnet.upv.es.

If the editors of RAET suspect research misconduct (for example, data fabrication, falsification or plagiarism), they should attempt to ensure that this is properly investigated by the appropriate authorities. Peer review sometimes reveals suspicion of misconduct.

Interoperability protocol

Revista de Teledetección is accessible through the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) based on the Dublin Core scheme, for its metadata transmission over internet.
