The Journal of Policy Evaluation (JPEVAL) invites original theoretical and empirical research for its second issue (April 2026). The journal publishes peer-reviewed contributions on the analysis, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, fostering methodological rigour, innovation and applied relevance for evidence-based policymaking.

Journal of Policy Evaluation

This is a diamond open access journal, meaning both authors and readers do not pay any fees, and is institutionally funded.

Journal of Policy Evaluation (JPEVAL) is a biannual scientific journal dedicated to the evaluation and monitoring of public policies through the publication of theoretical and empirical research articles, as well as reviews and sections on best practices related to policy evaluation and monitoring.

With a broad diversity in both methodologies and topics, it aims to be an inclusive and representative platform for different geographical and cultural contexts, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of public policy evaluation.
