Focus and Scope
Journal of Computer-Assisted Linguistic Research aims to promote the integration of computers into linguistic research. In particular, articles in the Journal make a clear contribution to research in which computer tools and techniques play a key role to represent and process written or spoken data. Contributions submitted to Journal of Computer-Assisted Linguistic Research must be in English, but we welcome works about the study of any language. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following fields:
- Computational linguistics
- Text mining
- Natural language processing
- Discourse analysis
- Forensic linguistics
- Language-resource construction
- Literary stylistics
- Speech technologies
It should be clearly noted that Journal of Computer-Assisted Linguistic Research does not cover articles that deal with issues in computer-aided language learning.
