Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
The manuscript is original and has not been previously published, nor is it currently under review by another journal, book, conference proceedings, or any other publication outlet.

The author(s) have read and accepted the journal’s Ethics and Good Practice Policy.

The Copyright Transfer Agreement has been uploaded, using the template provided by the journal.

The manuscript complies with the formal, stylistic, and bibliographic requirements established in the Author Guidelines.

The main manuscript file has been submitted in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word format (.odt, .doc, .docx), including images, figures, and tables inserted in their corresponding positions within the text, in accordance with the Official Template.

URLs and DOIs have been provided for references whenever possible.
-
An anonymous PDF file (with no authorship references), including the full text as well as embedded illustrations and tables, has been submitted for peer review.
-
The image files have been uploaded to the platform, numbered as they appear in the text, in JPG or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

The corresponding author has entered the required metadata for all authors in the online platform, including: full name, affiliation, postal address, email address, and ORCID identifier (ID).
Original Research
This section includes articles presenting original scientific analyses, interpretations, and results that constitute a significant contribution to one or more of the journal’s thematic areas. Manuscripts submitted to this section must follow a scientific structure that includes: an introduction and background, objectives, a detailed methodology, results, conclusions, and references. The section emphasizes originality, academic rigor, and contribution to scientific development (download template).
Applied Graphic Research
This section includes applied research articles that combine a strong methodological and graphic approach, focusing on graphic surveys, documentation, and reproducible procedures within the fields of architecture and building construction. These contributions generate new, relevant knowledge for the discipline, providing results that can be replicated and used by other researchers. The section integrates scientific rigor with a significant visual component, allowing the findings to contribute effectively to the advancement of knowledge.
The structure of these articles is divided into two parts: the first part contains the text of the article, including the introduction and/or background, objectives, detailed methodology, results, conclusions, and references, as well as the abstract and keywords. The second part consists of a graphic appendix in DIN A3 format, forming an integral part of the article. This section may include drawings, original plans, or any other graphic material derived from the survey conducted by the authors, with the aim of facilitating the understanding of the procedures and results obtained (download template).
Reviews of books and doctoral thesis
Book and doctoral thesis reviews must not exceed 2.000 characters. Book reviews shall include the following information: title, author/s, publisher, place of publication, year, and ISBN. Doctoral thesis reviews shall include the following details: title, author, supervisor/s, examination committee, date, place of defence, and final grade. Book reviews may include an image of the book cover, while doctoral thesis reviews may include an illustrative image. In both cases, all images must comply with the same technical requirements established for research articless (download template).

This license is from issue 24 (2026), the previous articles were published under license used by the journal at that moment (license that appears in articles pdf's).
The authors are free to make additional independent contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the journal (such as publication in an institutional repository or in a book), provided that the initial publication is recognized in this journal.
