Abstract

Companies, in order to increase their competitiveness in a changing environment, demand innovative people. They must be able to measure the innovative competence of individuals. Universities, meanwhile, are training future professionals and have raised the need to strengthen and work the innovation skills of their students, thus promoting access to employment and in turn increasing the competitiveness of both companies and the society. Through this literature review (27 references), innovation competence in the professional field is addressed by studying how companies detect and measure competence of their workers. Moreover, it analyzes how universities work this competence with their students.
