The architectural framework of Stanley Kubrick´s scenarios. The Shining a Case Study

Architect and researcher by Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM). Beginning of the professional career in cinema in the early 2000s, working as an artistic director in numerous short films and professional documentaries, while practicing his profession of architect in parallel. As a result, he has participated in the design and execution of the most important film and television buildings in Spain, thus combining both disciplines in their convergent concepts, and constantly trying to connect cinema and architecture inside and outside the physical limits of the screen. True to his didactic and analytical concerns, he has worked as an associate professor in the Nebrija University and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, sharing his experience with both languages. During this period of professional exercise, he has obtained numerous recognitions, being selected in more than two hundred festivals and exhibitions and receiving at the same time a fortnight of national and international prizes, emphasizing the preselection to the Goya Awards (cinema) and the recognized design of film and television studios in Rtve (architecture).
