Paloma Pineda is Professor at the Department of Building Structures and Geotechnical Engineering, School of Architecture, in the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. Architect (PhD, MArch, MEng, BArch) and MSc in Physics. From a multidisciplinary approach, her research focuses on structural design and works in architecture and heritage preservation. She works constructively both in academia and with external partners (Companies, Government and International Institutions) as professor, researcher and practitioner. It is worth mentioning her work as consultant for OCTs, the design of singular structures and the heritage preservation works for the Administration; Former Architect Director of Integral Rehabilitation Area (ARI) and Vice-Dean of the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain).
