Pneumatic concrete laminar structures revisited. A singular architectural structural type

Architect graduated in 2022/2023 and PhD Architecture student in Universidad de Sevilla. Over the last years she has participated in various research projects in the Department of Building Structures and Geotechnical Engineering at Universidad de 14 Sevilla, being an undergraduate research assistant from 2021 to 2022 and being awarded with a research fellowship from the Ministry of Education of Spain during the years 2021- 2022.  School of Architecture. Paloma Pineda is Professor at the Department of Building Structures and Geotechnical Engineering, School of Architecture, in the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. Architect (PhD, MArch, MEng, BArch) and MSc in Physics. From a multidisciplinary approach, her research focuses on structural design and works in architecture and heritage preservation. She works constructively both in academia and with external partners (Companies, Government and International Institutions) as professor, researcher and practitioner. It is worth mentioning her work as consultant for OCTs, the design of singular structures and the heritage preservation works for the Administration; Former Architect Director of Integral Rehabilitation Area (ARI) and Vice-Dean of the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain).
