Licenciada em psicologia educacional e mestre em educação especial colaborou com várias escolas e com professores do ensino regular e do ensino especial. Tem uma vasta experiência de trabalho com alunos de minorias culturais. Desenvolveu investigação na área da aquisição e desenvolvimento da linguagem. Desde 2011 tem-se focalizado no estudo da formação inicial de professores para a inclusão.

David Rodrigues is a Professor of Special Education in the High School of Education Jean Piaget. He is president of Pró – Inclusion /National Association of Teachers of Special Education. He got his Ph.D. at the University of Lisbon and had his tenure from the same university. He authored 30 books on themes of Education, Special Education and Inclusive Education. David has an intense activity a keynote speaker in Spain, France, UK, Brazil and Colombia and belongs to the editorial board of 8 national and international journals. He is a member of the group of experts of the Council of Europe on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and cooperated in projects of UNESCO and Handicap International. He received in 2007 the International Research Prize “Latin Union”.
