María Cecilia O'Byrne Orozco

Biografía

Associate Professor at the University of Los Andes, Colombia. She is an architect from University of Los Andes, with a PhD in Architectural Projects and a Masters’ degrees in Architectural History from Universitat Polyecnica de Canatlunya (2008). María Cecilia’s work has been international recognised with various grants, including the Bourse Jeune Cherchuer (Fondation Le Corbusier, 2003), and several awards, including the Bienal Colombiana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, as curator of the exhibitions “Le Corbusier en Bogotá” (2010) and “Casa + Casa + casa= ¿ciudad? Germán Samper: una investigación en Vivienda” (2012). She has been keynote speaker in international conferences in Brazil, Ecuador and Spain, amongst other countries.
