Supplementary material
Supplementary material that complements and reinforces the research provided is accepted.
Supplementary material is understood to be material that supports the research but is not an essential part of it. This includes applications, high-resolution images, PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, etc.
These files will be provided during the submission process as supplementary material and will be uploaded via the platform with a brief description of their content. They will have a short name that clearly indicates their content.
Among other documents, supplementary files may include those that expand on the information in the submission with details about the experimental equipment, an extended description of the experiments, extensive data tables, additional or secondary results not included in the submission, extensive discussions of the results and conclusions, etc.
The accepted formats are:
- Text: ASCII, Word, PDF, HTML
- Tables: Excel, Word, HTML, XHTML, XML
- Audio and video: AVI, MPG, Quicktime, RM, MP3, WAV
- Animation: GIF, JPEG, Flash/Shockwave
- Images: GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG
For multimedia material, it is recommended to use standard formats and a file size not exceeding 150 MB. They must be uploaded to the platform together with the submission file and referenced in the same place. This reference can be made:
- In the same way as figures and tables are referenced,
- Through electronic links
