Submission Checklist
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission complies with all of the following requirements. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned to the authors.
- Original and unpublished. The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the editor).
- Anonymized file. If you are submitting to a section of the journal that is peer-reviewed, please ensure that the file is prepared for anonymous evaluation; the name of the author(s) and any possible references that could reveal the author of the article have been removed from the text. Identifying information is incorporated as metadata requested throughout the article submission process. How to ensure all files are anonymized.
- Format. The file submitted is in Microsoft Word or compatible format.
- Structure and style guidelines. The text complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the Guidelines for authors.
- Bibliographic sources. All bibliographic sources used in the research have been properly cited and are listed in the bibliographic references section (with the DOI if known).
- Authorship. All authors responsible for the writing and research of the submission are mentioned, and the participation of each author is listed at the end following the CREDIT taxonomy.
- Data. If the research is based on a data set, this is referenced in the submission by means of a DOI included in the text of the submission in the Research Data section.
- Funding. If the research has received funding, this has been mentioned in the submission and the project code has been provided, incorporating the information in the Funding section of the article.
