Hacia 1929 Frank Lloyd Wright hizo una serie de “dibujos negros” de algunas de sus obras. Negros por el peso que las zonas negras tienen en ellos y por la singularidad que constituye en el estilo habitual de Wright. Son diferentes a los que él acostumbraba a hacer y de un estilo que no volvió a repetir. Sobre uno de ellos Wright escribió la frase Grammar of the Protestant. Este artículo trata de este dibujo, pretende entender su razón de ser y la parte autobiográfica que Wright proyectó en él.
